This is different than smokeless powder. In WWII it appears the Germans and Japanese used it in their guns. It had the effect of making it harder to detect if a firing unit was concealed. Does anyone know of any game systems using this rule? Thanks, Wolfhag |

Hmmmm, don't really recall any, other than for naval rules, and the Italian Navy not having it available when conducting night battles with their big ships. |

Nor did the Italians have it for their smaller ships, just as the USN did not until… 1943? Late 43? Seekrieg 5 covers it, General Quarters 3.3 does also Oh the RN had flashless powder from the beginning of the war and trained hard for night actions. |
