Not sue if this is relevant but the MDF painting guide from Sarissa makes it look so so easy!

I like the unpainted MDF stuff, but I have SO many mini's to paint I'd rather spend $20 USD more for a nicer looking pre-painted house

I know there are more I just can't recall just now.

Paper print and assemble from Wargame Vault can be a GREAT value. Many assemble in minutes.

Loads of stuff on Etsy too.

Are the Hallmark ones still available?

captaincold6928 Jul 2020 1:03 p.m. PST

Plastcraft is sold out as is Timecast

The main issue is most of this stuff comes from overseas and the new shipping rates make them cost prohibitive. I can get something from the US (crescent root, which look nicer but are more expensive)for the same price or less and in less time.

Thanks for all the suggestions folks.

I'm the exact opposite.

I can add a little paint to mine in exchange for huge cost savings for the unpainted buildings.

Miniature Building Authority has dropped their 15mm buildings. There are a few left on their website but other than that you need to pick up on the secondary market. A pity as I have quite a bit of their 15mm and always found them quite nice. I especially liked how they converted into ruins.

Empires at war. excellent models. empiresatwar.co.uk

Empires of War look nice, but with the new shipping rates anything from the UK is going to be too expensive and most of their 15mm stuff is out of order

I actually vote against Crescent Root. I bought some for Flames of War, and it didn't really work out. The roofs of the two story houses lift off but the second floors don't, and at the bottom where you would place a miniature the bottom is all rounded into the edges. Also, only the center part and steeple of their church lifts off; there's no removable roofs for the side. Several hours with a dremmal tool and building sets of second floors that could be inserted in the buildings made them marginally viable for Flames of War use, and not really better than that.

Actually if you can find anyone selling Crescent Root discontinued all MDF, they were available with damaged top floors. I was lucky enough to purchased a 2nd set before they discontinued them.
