"Have you also seen the reconstructed face of the female Viking warrior this week? Researchers at the Museum of Cultural History are now conducting new analyses of the warrior from the Nordre Kjølen grave. This past week there has been tremendous international interest in female warriors from the Viking Age, primarily because of the National Geographic's reconstruction (link to The Guardian) of the face from a Viking skull from Nordre Kjølen in Solør.
