Hello everyone, Please, apart from those of the famous WRG book,in which books can one find designations and illustrations of unit's insignia- either in applied panels or painted on the scutum and clipeux – of the Roman soldiers of the principate 27 BC-AD117? Thank you |

Thank you both, in fact what I want to know is a maximum of patterns – either in applied panels or painted – that we found on the scutum of the legions and on the clipeux of the auxiliary units and especially to which units they belonged to and at what times ..? |

So for the shields of the Roman soldiers oof the period of the principate 27 BC. JC-117 AD JC, there isn't the equivalent of the Noticia Dignitatum ? |
