…Chinese J-20 Fighter Jet

"In December 2018, we were the first to report about a somehow weird sighting: a Chengdu J-20 Mighty Dragon at an airport in Georgia, US. We were also sent some images that indeed showed a J-20 replica and we geo-located the photographs as being taken in front of the USAF Air Dominance Center at the Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport, where the US Air Force and Air Force Reserve operate a number of aircraft.

At a time when spending is tight, I'm really not sure why an inflatable mockup, or other low-cost substitute couldn't have been used instead.

I get the USAF/USN perhaps wanting one for anti-radar testing, but not really sure what the USMC needs one for.

Then again, perhaps someone is training for a "Firefox" scenario, like with Clint Eastwood, from back in the day. Tom cruise is going to be a bit busy doing his next space movie, so perhaps they'll get a real USMC pilot to stand in for the actor, instead.

Of course, it'd just be much simpler to offer a multi-million dollar bounty to have an actual Chinese pilot fly one to Taiwan, Guam, South Korea, India, or Japan for us instead. That's how we got some real birds in the past.

For anyone reading this, we'd prefer the new J-20B variant, if you please. We'll throw in an all expenses paid trip to Disneyworld, for your trouble, on top of the multi-million dollar bounty. $10 USD MILLION sounds about right.

Any takers?
