"A teenage girl hailed a hero for killing two Taliban extremists in Afghanistan has said she is 'ready to fight again' after she grabbed an AK47 and opened fire after seeing her parents shot dead 'in front of my eyes'. Qamar Gul, thought to be aged 16, grabbed the family gun after extremists stormed her home in Ghor province and murdered her parents. 'I no longer fear them and I'm ready to fight them again,' Gul told AFP news agency via telephone, adding 'I am proud I killed my parents' murderers.'…"

That is terrible news for her and any other relatives she may have. I admire her for taking up arms and killing those responsible for murdering her parents. The Taliban would be finished if there were more brave individuals like her, to oppose them. |
