"As American society continues to teeter on the brink of civil conflict, the term "Balkanization" has become a more common buzzword as various factions and ideologies continue to march the future of the nation into uncertainty.

As such, references from the various Yugoslav Wars of the 1990s and early 2000s have begun resurfacing, often in the form of memes, films and musical clips.

From the film "Pretty Village, Pretty Flame" to the ubiquitous "Remove Kebab" meme sampled from a song performed by a Serbian war criminal, the majority of the related memes tend to focus on the Serbian side of the conflict, namely due to the amount of propaganda and morale-boosting media they produced…"
