Interesting! I light up some of my models, but there is always the issue of being able to change the batteries.

I would have been surprised if that 40K funding would have covered the European certification costs let alone the rest of the world…

It's technically feasible – the chip to do the heavy lifting costs a couple of bucks. The devil is in the details with this kind of thing, although the pcb looks competent, so I think it looks like a good product

They weren't really clear about the pcb size, the runtime and so on, which didn't sound particularly long to me. After a few years, you would have to change the Lithium battery, which would mean that you would have to be careful how you integrated the pcb into the model. The led wires plug in with a decent connector, so they have clearly thought it through a lot

It would also have been good for them to show how to wire an led into a model, which doesn't look that easy to me

I'm honestly a little surprised that they got so little attention from the kickstarter, but I'm not the target audience (haven't bought a Games Workshop figure since 1982 ….)
