I would call the paint job "crisp". I like it.

What makes this three armed doofus with an auto-pistol and a giant flag with 800 pound metal finial, a "Kill Team" commander? What is a "kill Team" anyway, just more marketing driven gamer drivel like "War Band" or "War Gear"? Is it something like the news media re-branding things at random, like calling soldiers "War Fighters", mercenaries "Contractors" and UAVs "Drones"…..nevermind, lets not go there.

As for the painting of said miniature? Looks like neat block painting and glaze/inking over top to create shadowing. Neatly done but not very inspired. Everything looks very neat, clean and evenly colored even though the cloth is all sculpted as tattered. The base looks air brushed making the surface look highly polished. The whole ting has a bit of a glossy comic book cover art look.

Kind of has a cell animation art style to it. If that was what the artist was going for then they got a good effect.
