My research sins of 40+ years ago have caught up with me. Can anyone suggest a book of site which would name the officers of three particular Loyalist regiments, or any of these three?

Volunteers of Ireland
New York Volunteers
King's American Regiment

Thanks,

Robert

Robert, the Black Powder Rebellion supplement has a section on Loyalists regiments. ( I am using the Perry plastic continental set to paint up my 28mm Loyalists).

Here is some info from that book:
Volunteers of Ireland – Raised in Philadelphia by Lord Rowden in 1777.
Queens Rangers – Raised by Robert Rogers in 1776. They were under Major James Wemyss at the Battle of Brandywine. Laster LT Col John Graves Simcoe was give command.
Kings American Regiment – raised in 1776 by Col Edmund Fanning.

Excellent! Thank you both very much. GurKhan, I think that first link is exactly what I was hoping for.

That would be Lord Rawdon, later known as the Early of Moira…Royal North Carolina Regiment commanded by Lt.Col. John Hamilton.

I never knew that all of that information was in one place.
