A NVA regular comrade soldier. This time i put some elephant grass on the base for variation. This works well for a jungle setting but might be a problem later on when I move to games set in Hue.

Nice ! I got a CHICOM SKS with triangular folding bayonet. I got from my Snr Ops NCO in the 101 who served in Vietnam.

Anyone (well depending on country) can get one from some internet store, with a very dodgy provenance, at a hell of a price.

How impressive to have one, knowing that it really did come from VN….

Dumb question then. What do you do with it now? Is it hanging on a wall on display? I cannot imagine you could find ammo to actually fire the damned thing and I think you would be brave to do so, after all these years. Remember, where I live, such an asset would probably land you in jail!

Hanging on my wall with my M98K and CAR-15. I have plenty of ammo for all of them. And yes in the USA you can get ammo for almost anything including the SKS and AK47 … And can be fired on most ranges.

Especially today with all the rioting going on, etc. But were I live chances of that is small. But my friends and I all are well armed with a lot of ammo.

The local Military Officers Assoc. of America that I am a member and asked to be on staff. We will have our annual Range Day/Picnic/BBQ this month. At a near by Rod & Gun Club. Just up the road from the USAFR Base.

The guys love to bring out their arsenals, many are Combat Vets from Vietnam. I remember from last year guys brought out their AR-15s, M1 Carbines, M1 Garands, 03 Springfields, and .45s, 44s, 357s, etc. As well as some small arms from all over the word.

My girlfriend's Son was an NCO in the USMC for 10+ years. And Combat Vet of multiple tours in A'stan and Iraq. He is the Range NCOIC. And she was a MP in the NG for 14 years. We keep it all in the family ! evil grin
