As always combat will prove if this is a valid idea. |

Congrats. I couldn't have done that when I was in the military (and few can). |

Really? A certain song by Prince pops into my head when I see the thread title, so in good fun I post some of the lyrics to the chorus; and it gets deleted. What is with the extreme censorship on this website. I didn't write anything offensive or use obscene words. It was a quote from a very popular pop song. What is this, Orwell's 1984? |

One of the great songs of the period, too. |

What is this, Orwell's 1984? Looked misogynistic to the moderators. Doubt you would have said something similar if it hadn't been a woman. |

Looked misogynistic to the moderators. Doubt you would have said something similar if it hadn't been a woman. You are not saying it WAS misogynistic, but LOOKED misogynistic. The words were a direct quote from a Prince pop song. Was his intent to be misogynistic? I don't think so, but I'm not a mind reader. What the moderators are doing is traveling down a very slippery slope of censorship. It is one thing to censor certain words or images, and quite another to incorrectly infer intent. I've seen images of figures on this site which are clearly misogynistic, but the lyrics to Prince's song about a woman wearing a beret are not misogynistic. I'm the offended party in all of this for being falsely accused of misogyny when there was none. It's a dangerous world when one has to worry about being falsely accused by the thought police. |
