Today I finished the last of the 77 single soldiers/officer of the rarely known, but particularly for the campaign dress of Prussian and Russian troops relevant, uniform series of "Landeck". Landeck is a small town in Silesia where the troops passed and an unknown artist painted them in a real detailed manner.

The Landeck series will be followed by a larger project – the Elberfeld manuscript of which I made photos from the original!

Thank you for sharing this interesting uniform site.

It is strange that the English officers are wearing what appears to be a Prussian type headgear (feldmutz).
