… Alleged Actions as Cause "France has pulled out of a NATO naval mission in the Mediterranean in protest against a Turkish frigate allegedly switching on targeting radar on a French warship, plunging ties between two members of the military alliance to a new low. "The president of the French republic has decided to withdraw French capabilities from Sea Guardian until further notice," armed forces minister Florence Parly told July 2 members of the European parliament on the defense and security committee. They didn't have fire control radar? Either the mission is worthwhile or it isn't. Why are they putting up with the Turks doing this. Instead they withdrew from the mission! |

They withdrew because the blocade was then a joke, pierced by a NATo member. It costs, for nothing. They sent a frigate in the Cyprus waters the Turks are drilling for gas, to show that two can play games. Unfortunatelly no one has guts and power to show the sultan the stop signal. External and internally. Weakness… it also comes easily when you are broke. |
