Anyone know off-hand at which battle of the AWI, the largest number of Loyalists fought (or were present)? |

Kings Mountain was entirely a Loyalist force, right at 1100 men. Moore's Creek Bridge the Scots had 1400 to 1600 on the march, and about half thta in the actual battle. |

Loyalist regiments seem to have been used mainly in security duties, except the famous cavalry units. And a few other combat units like deLanceys and Butlers. |

DeLancey had three battalions of Loyalists, and they fought all the way through the war. That may be the largest concentration. |

Not battles, but the sieges of Savannah and Charleston involved large contingents of loyalists. There were also roughly 1,000 loyalists in Campbell's command at the battle of Savannah in 1778. |

Pensacola, Mobile had a large force especially after you added in Florida Scots Rangers. Baton Rouge had loyalist, a few regulars and Germans. |

Battle of Hobkirk's Hill saw had a very large Provincial units showing consisting of the Volunteers of Ireland, NY Volunteers, and SC Royalists. |
