Also shogun miniatures got metal or magnet bases. If I had it all over to do again, I would use shogun metal bases. Thin and strong and stick to a sheet magnet for storage. But I started with Litko. Which are fine. I use 3mm bases with the flex steel on the bottom. |

FWIW, I rebased my armies from 1×3/4 inch bases to 1x1 inch bases. There's no real difference in play, and the square bases just look better. Litko was my choice. |

I have also used both. What I found is with the wooden bases, theyare a bit thick, so people tend to pick up the base bey the edges to move them, where as with the thin metal bases, people pick up the figures by the figures to move them. I have stuck with the wooden bases. |
