… Letters On Land Disputed With India.

"The inscriptions, located between 'Finger 4' and 'Finger 5' measure approximately 81 metres in length and 25 metres in breadth and are large enough to be clearly spotted by passing imagery satellites.

In a claim to disputed territory, Chinese forces in the contested Fingers region of Ladakh's Pangong Lake have inscribed a massive Mandarin symbol and map of China onto the ground they occupy.

The inscriptions, located between 'Finger 4' and 'Finger 5' measure approximately 81 metres in length and 25 metres in breadth and are large enough to be clearly spotted by passing imagery satellites. Earlier this week, Wang Hajiang, the overall commander of Chinese forces in Tibet was photographed repainting the character of 'China' in a frontier position along the India-China boundary…"

They didn't just paint a middle finger the size of the Titanic?

Kind of a weak response to the border skirmish 10 days ago where the chicoms got their heads handed to them.

StoneMtnMinis,

Chicom casualties were never confirmed. 20 Indians were killed.

There's Indian claims of lots of dead Chinese but then the Indians also claim shooting down Pakistani F-16s when one of their own MiGs got shot down. Indeed the only aircraft India shot down then was one of their own Mi-17 Hip choppers!

They also claim hundreds of dead terrorists in an airstrike yet satelite imagery confirmed there was no camp at the coordinates involved and just one building that was intact and showed no signs of being hit by a bomb.

India and China are both big on propaganda.

Nothing can be believed from either of these two countries.

They could have at least spelled it in English for us non-Chinese readers. But I'm probably not their target audience. I am usually impressed with their armed forces' ability to follow orders for stuff like this. I know my old unit would never have been able to stand still long enough to make it work.

That tactic seems ripe for copying by many in the region, just to Bleeped text the communists off, e.g. in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Tibet, the South and East China Seas, etc., etc., just for their own propaganda coup.

The Indians should sneak across the border and add "Seized by…." in front of China.
