Hoping somebody can help me with the name of the company that sells the particle board bases every year at Historicon by filling up a container full for a set price. I cannot for the life of me remember who they are despite buying bases from them several times. Obviously this year I will have to purchase them online if I can get the name. Thanks much!

Gale Force Nine, which is part of Battlefront.

Thanks! I will check that lead out.

Well not particle board but MDF.
There is a diff or do i not know any better? Not trying to be snarky. Just curious this late in the evening.

But that is Gale Force 9 who have been doing that for years now.
There is another business that has been doing it for the past few years. They laser the size on the bases.
I cant for the life of me remember their name.
At Fall In last year they were the 1st business at the Dealer Hall entrance off on the left.
Anyone?

And Phalanx Consortium is who Grimmnar was referencing.

So Battlefront USA and Phalanx Consortium are the two main companies that sell wooden bases at HMGS East conventions.

No luck in finding what I was looking for unless I ordered from China! Ended up getting some wooden bases from Noble Knight Games right here in good old Wisconsin.

My Google skills aren't working very well today. Does anyone have a direct link to either the Battlefront or GF9 web page that shows the MDF bases?

At BF I can only find Flames of War items and I can't find the bases at GF9 pages.

Links are always helpful if you can provide them.

My understanding the Battlefront/GF9 vendor who shows at HMGS conventions (Historicon in particular) only sell bases at conventions they exhibit at. Its always a rush to fill your chinese takeout box since once the sizes you want are gone, they're gone.

Another U.S. source of bases (plywood and acrylic) in two or more thicknesses and just about every size and shape imaginable) is Litko Aerosystems, and you can order on-line in various quantities.
