I am interested in getting some 18mm dismounted cavalry for skirmishing games in SYW.

Does anyone have any recommendations for figure ranges? I know bluemoon have some "coming soon" miniatures. I suspect as soon I buy from another range they will be released within a 24hours 😊

If they wore helmets during the SYW you can look at AB dismounted Napoleonic Dragoon's, they might be close. If they wore tricorns Blue Moon has a set of Russian dismounted cavalry in their Great Northern War range and French dismounted dragoon's In bonnets In the Malburian range. Eureka shows French Mounted Dragoon's in tricorns and pokalem(bonnets). If I remember correctly the change to helmets was in the early 1760's. So depending how fussy you are some of the above might work.
