I am about to do a Late Imperial Roman army in 28mm based about the Gripping Beast Plastics. I want to add in some metals though to increase variety. Does anyone have advice or experience to share on what companies mini's would mix well with the GB plastics?

Cheers

I'd like to hear about that myself.

I know this is probably a "duh" on my part, put did you look at the GB metal Late Romans? Very nice figures.

No, a very fair comment – yes I did and nice they seem to be to. At first I assumed that they would match the plastics well in size. Then realised that this assumption is only based on the fact they are produced by the same company, and I have seen from experience the same companies ranges do not always match. So part of my question is to see if people say 'the Gripping Beast metals match with them very well' or not.

I also thought that if I am going to add metals might as well consider other ranges as well.

I have found that the GB plastics and metals match up well. The one thing for me was that the plastic poses were a little more "active" than the metal poses, but not so much that I don't use them together….some guys just aren't as into the fight or get tired a bit quicker.
