Has anyone tried Hardwired: Cyberpunk Espionage and Mayhem as a head-to-head skirmish game? People seem to like it as solo / co-op but I can't find anything specific on how it plays as a regular skirmish game. Any opinions?

Hardwired is made for solo and co-op. It's weighted toward the player's Agents, not the Hostile Security. (H-SEC)

I'm sure it can be played head-to-head, but we've never done it.

Now if you were to create a couple enemy Agents, backed by the waves of H-SEC, who were tasked with fighting off the intruders, that might be very interesting. And competitive.

Thanks. So nothing really in the rules that support head-to-head?

No. Sorry.

The solo/co-op concept was intentional and the whole game is built around it.
