Interesting use of 15mm buildings with 28mm figures.

I often use buildings a touch smaller in scale -full scale buildings take up a lot of room!

1/72 figures and some 15mm FOW buildings, correct? It looks good.

Maybe the 15mm buildings are just for in the background, in which case they're presenting a neat perspective of distance.

Thanks guys! Yes, 20mm figures and vehicles so 1/76 to 1/72.

I had to dig out everything I have for this set up. It's a 6x4 table in 28mm blown up to 8x5 in 20mm so the single buildings in the original became whole blocks of buildings.

The buildings are a mix of 20mm (the bank, the destroyed municipal building), 1/87 railroad models (like the truck terminal, the warehouse, the school and the church), OO scale Airfix and 15mm scale buildings (FoW and Timecast).

The 15mm FoW buildings work fairly well with 20mm miniatures but when the troops are in the buildings one has to put cardboard between the ground and 1st floors so that the figures do not suffer. The nice things about FoW buildings are their availability (can be obtained locally, unlike 20mm stuff), the fact that they come painted (on the outside and the floor only – one day I'll paint the inside walls I promise) and that they are nearly indestructible.
