Unfortunately, I think there must have been a wrong group of buildings selected for using in the design of this game for the scenario book. The action took place at what is known as La Cour Marqueron (which is east of Arthenay), and the Germans were mostly defending in the farm buildings on the north side of the road, and along an orchard above the yard. The Americans had left La Cambe when they encountered the enemy west of that town. The action was chronicled in Lt. John Allsup's book Hedgerow Hell, and he led the attack that cleared the farmstead. Here's a wartime recon photograph taken, with the battle site in the middle of the map.
