How do the points work for it? Is it a 10 Points or just five. |

I believe it is 5 points (for the general), the Spellcaster ability is zero points (but limited to one per army). I couldn't find any 2nd edition army lists which use spellcaster generals, but the 1st edition Undead army had a spellcaster general that was only 4 points. (This was before the point system introduced for 2nd edition.) |

I'll send this thread to Mike for possible clarification. Quick answer, 5 points. Explanation: The General unit is the most powerful unit in the game. You MUST have a General unit (cost of 5 points). You can have only 1 Spellcaster per army. You MAY buy a Spellcaster unit (for a cost of 5) and that will give you another physical unit. OR you may give ANY unit the Spellcaster ability for free, but that is sort of putting your all eggs in one basket. This is from the 2010 printed version of Mighty Armies. Dave |

Cool was asking because I am using Mighty Armies to build Dune/Deathstalker Armies and Atreides need a spellcaster leader. I have Samurai Saradukar, 16th Cent Korean Harkonnen, and Swiss Pikeman Atreides. |
