…Bay From Space. "The Copernicus Sentinel-2 mission takes us over San Francisco Bay in the US state of California. San Francisco Bay, almost 100 km in length, is a shallow estuary surrounded by the San Francisco Bay Area – an extensive metropolitan region that is dominated by large cities such as San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose. The densely populated urban areas around the bay contrast strongly with the surrounding green forest and park areas…."

Used to live there; this is interesting, but Google Maps can resolve individual automobiles (though not in real time) and I don't need anything more than that. |

von Schwartz, I just came back from SF, I'm scraping it off my shoes. Here is the s*ituation in SF: link People are calling it the "Homeless Industrial Complex". The local government gives grants to newly established "non-profit services" to help clean up the situation. Get a contract to pick up used needles from druggies. Then have another non-profit get a contract to pass out clean needles that will also be left to pick up needing more people. Get a contract to provide outdoor portable toilets but people don't use them but like to push them over (we all know how much fun that is). It's sad, it has many beautiful parts but it's tough getting around to see them. Wolfhag |

Wow! I've heard similar Wolf. Seems today in many locations the lunatics are running the asylum. |
