From our lead organiser for the 2020 working group:

Dear All,
It is with great sadness I have to announce that Colours 2020 will not be happening due to the restrictions placed upon us because of the Covid 19 or Coronavirus. We have tried to hold on as long as we could in the hope that by September things would have normalised, but we have reached the point where we needed to make a decision to either proceed or not. Obviously, we have to make the safety of our attendees, our traders and our club members our highest priority. Like so many events before us, this means that we find ourselves in a position where we cannot in good conscience proceed. At the time of writing this it is intended that Colours will return in September 2021 but we will communicate that at the appropriate time.

Damn, I was really hoping that this show would go ahead, still I understand their reasons for making this decision.

We are running out of time to actually have another show in the UK this year.

Sad, another casualty of the 'Year that never was'

There's a couple up north in October and November. Haven't heard anyone cancel them yet.

You never know.

sadly no signals from the govt that anything will be back to normal by then or even christmas , according to the the times social distancing will be reduced to 1 metre any time soon …

It is a shame, but it's clearly the correct decision. It would be crazy to put our hobby before lives and, as a commercial venture, if it did go ahead it would do so with a very large number of gamers very sensibly deciding to not attend due to the risks involved.

I'm just writing off this year as a bad job and looking forward to 2021. Frankly, I think everything is a writen off until the medicos develop a jab.

Oh, what a shame! I've had some jolly times at Colours, hopefully will again, in '21.

I know the Wakefield group are still hoping for Recon in December but a shame over this. I do enjoy seeing the pictures!
