I had to run out for reinforcements when I opened my last tube of superglue.

I usually get the "Original Super Glue" brand, which comes in yellow tubes with red (runny) and green (gel) caps. Made in Taiwan. You can get it at Walmart or DollarTree, but Dollar Tree is cheaper – two tubes for $1. USD

Works as well as the more expensive brands, in my experience. Nothing is more frustrating than using an expensive superglue brand, only to have it clog up after a few uses!

I noticed today that Dollar Tree now has another brand, four tubes for $1 USD, in black tubes, yellow packaging similar to the other brand. Made in China. I'll give it a try.

Let us know if it's any good.

Cheaper brands I keep a pin in nozzle to stop clogging. No need to do this with UHU which is really good.

I've been using the Gorilla Glue gel and super glues. An American company that manufactures in the US and sources ingredients from Canada and the EU. More expensive but they work very well.

I agree with Don. Ever since I switched about three years ago to only using Gorilla Glue super glue, I haven't had any problems. I have been able to use the entire bottle of glue every time without any issues. That said, I have had a few problems with their gel, but far fewer than with other brands.

Gorilla Glue gel works real good for me.

I have clogging problems with both UHU and Gorilla Glue superglue.

This is great stuff if you can get it – and great price

I have never had any significant problems with Bob industry's or Gorilla super glue a pin hasn't dealt with. The only time i bought cheap dollar store glue tubes it was annoying to use and didn't work as well in my opinion.

Update: the 'black' superglue is neither runny nor gel, but inbetween. Seems to work fine so far. Only complaint is that the nozzle is black, you can't see the glue coming down.

The dollar store ones in the yellow tubes are actually the original superglue (or so they claim).

Update: The 'black' superglue is gone from Dollar Tree. I have seen it at Ocean State Job Lots (discount chain), no price shown.

All four of my tubes eventually clogged before being used up.
