I thought I should post this on here because if anyone else is like the local builders here, they probably have a "stash" of kits, in addition to their lead and plastic figures! I was opening a few Pegasus Hobbies kits to build (the 1/72 WW2 armour kits) and 3 of the boxes were missing sprues! Each box is supposed to have 2 complete kits in them but 3 different models (T-34/76 (#7661), Su-85m (#7663) and Su-122 (#7664)) each had only 1 kit in them. I tried emailing them and, of course, their admin email box is full … I tried their sales and the on-site query system after the 'in box' full bounce-back message. Now I am going to have to go through the other boxes in the garage and see if the same thing has happened with any of them … |

More than likely Pegasus is on lock down because of the virus. Give them a chance. |

I am not complaining about Pegasus Hobbies – I am trying to let others know their kits in their stashes may also have only 1 model in them. I heard back from Pegasus – they're not on lockdown. They are open 11 – 7 and 10 – 6 today. It apparently turns out these are from the initial run and they subsequently have rectified this. Please contact them at support@pegasushobbies.com. The Admin email on the web page's top right corner is full. Excellent, quick response from them, by the way. They will send out the missing models next week. (I still have a number of boxes to open in the garage to see if I have any more from the initial run.) |
