A million years ago I trained on an M60(A)(3) Trying to model one. As I recall the inside of the turret was painted white, what color was underneath side of the commander and loader's hatches? Seems like white would stick out, but I don't rememeber. |

A million years ago we used to pull you guys out of the mud at FT Pickett, VA… And for the life of me, all I can think of is white… And I know I just can't remember. Eric |

On my tank at Fort Lewis, the inside of the hatches were OD green. |

Same color green as the exterior. That's the way it was on the -48s, -60s, Sheridans, Abrams, and -113 variants that equipped the units I had the privilege to serve. Kevin |

I seem to remember OD green as well from my time in armored units in the 1970s (M60s, M551s, and M577s). Jim |

OD green, or the same base color as the exterior of the tank. |
