I didn't buy any of the Official Muskets and Tomahawks figures but from the pics some of them seem to be outfitted in winter gear.
Just noticed the Brigade Games FIW Kickstarter. Very nice figures. Some of them also seem to be in Winter gear.
Is this what the figures are intended to be?

Don't they know up here in Canada it gets bloody cold in the winter. I wouldn't want to be out in the bush at that time of year! :)

The war didn't stop because it got cold out.

Official Muskets and Tomahawks figures

Didn't know there were any. I'll continue to use my existing FIW figures, thank you.

Released with the rules as 'Nickstarter' sets.

When I first saw the figures, I was wondering the same thing. Actually, do any among the more current 28mm FIW ranges depict French irregular forces in non-winter clothing?

For what little it may be worth, a quick skim through Wikipedia's FIW entry suggests that most of the bigger campaigns and battles took place outside of winter. Nevertheless, there were some notable winter raids and skirmishes involving French irregulars.

So not actually "official" then …
And not released with the rules either. The rules have been available since 2012.
The rules are published by Studio Tomahawk, not North Star.

One of Rogers' best known fights was the 1758 Battle on Snowshoes.

Version 2 of the rules was released in March this year, and North Star are indeed the publisher in the UK. They also released some nice figures, but of course you can use any figures you want. Several manufacturers do figures in snow shoes and winter gear

and North Star are indeed the publisher in the UK.

No. Muskets and Tomahawks 2nd Edition) is published (as was the first edition) by Studio Tomahawk in Strasbourg

North Star is a distributor in the UK, but not exclusively so, others including Galloping Major also stock the rules.
