I might or might not have some 10mm ACW miniatures some place. I'll look for them on Monday. So the deep question is will I find them? |

Yes..but not while you are looking for them. Wait 1-3 years when you have forgotten about them and are working on another project and "suddenly" they will be there…right in front of you. |

I have looked, but I expect Bill to put up a Poll tomorrow. And I'll give the answer Monday. |

Yes, but you have to trick Murphy. Which is never easy. Wait the 2 days. Initiate a thorough search for something else you know you have, but dont remember where it is. Odds are 75% you won't find anything you want, tho 75% that you will find something you had planned to try to find, but never got around to. Wait 2 more days and try again. There's a 50% chance you'll find 1 of the 2 things you'd been looking for from the get go. By now you have 2 projects located. If you haven't found the 10mm ACW this far… Fuggettaboutdit. |

Immediately after you purchase, paint, base and grass the replacements. There are no shortcuts. |

Do yourself a favor – look in that place you think they couldn't possibly be, because you never would have put them there and because searching there is a painful amount of work disassembling and then rearranging everything that's actually supposed to be there. That's not where they are, but they will turn up in some place you already looked while you're partway through the long dig. It's a karma thing. Please don't ask how I know this. It triggers my PTSD (Post Traumatic Search Disorder). - Ix |

Are you sure they are not in the spare lead boxes in my basement? There is a lot of stuff there and I really have no idea where a lot of it came from! |

You will find them when you have forgotten why you were looking for them in the first place. |

And when you find them they will turn out to be 15mm instead of 10, or maybe Napoleonics instead of ACW -- or both. |

Well, I know you've all been on pins and needles (sadly bill didn't make a proper poll) Donlowry was kinda but kinda not right. Were I first looked I did find lots of 15mm. But they were peter pig Vikings. I also fond some of my old 6mm/10mm terrain (some fields) bad lots of palm trees for the last time I did 28mm Vietnam. Which I have started up again. So good finds. The second place I looked I did find 10mm ACW. Not a lot. But enough for 1 regiment of rebs. Also found a blister of 10mm WSS. |
