I found a reference that states in 1703 the Spanish Dragoons changed to a green coat with varied vest and breeches in the unit colors. The colors run the whole gamut. red, yellow, sky blue, white, blue and even two in violet. |

Yes during war they were given green coats replacing the older yellow ones. I couldn't tell you why 100% for sure, but it might have something to do with that of French dragoons, predominantly green in many cases too. After war, Spanish Dragoons went back to yellow uniforms. As for standards, those that I've seen used to be swallowtailed as common in many countries, red in many cases but in other colors too, and variously decorated with Burgundy crosses, Bourbon coats of arms, regimental devices and/or lily flowers. One such sample that I've found:
