A quick question about chainswords in the 30k Age of Darkness (7th Ed) rulebook before I build some minis.

Am I reading the chainsword rules correctly that they do NOT confer a combat bonus like they do in 8th Edition (ie +1 attack)?

If there was ever a time for the chainsword to shine it would seem like the Horus Heresy would be it!

Thanks!

Correct. Chainswords function like any other close combat weapon, but you do get an extra attack for having 2 weapons.

Thanks for clarifying that Alpha! I really prefer the 8th edition take on them then.

I may have to House rule that one!
