Hi I'm looking for some 15mm WW2 French AT Rifles. Does anyone have an idea who might carry them? |

How common was the use of ATRs by the French army? |

I don't think they really used them, especially at platoon level. How about just give them a couple of 25mm AT guns instead? They should smash all armour opponents (possibly not?). martin |

The Belgian one is probably as good as you are going to get and, in 15mm, it will still look like a French uniform. The French did receive some Boys ATRs, but I don't know how many saw service, or how they were parceled out. |

It seems that a number of them were issued to cavalry units in the GRDI (Infantry Division Reconnaissance) and GRCA (Corps Reconnaissance)but I don't know how many. |

Thanks everyone for your help. I managed to get some bonus 60mm mortars as well, which I lacked! I didn't realise the French use of Anti-Tank Rifles was uncommon. My French army is a week old so it's all pretty new to me. I'll take the advice as well and order another 25mm AT gun. |

I've been toying with WWII French recently and found this excellent site with very detailed OOBs & TOEs. atf40.fr/ATF40/index.html pjm |

Thanks Mckrok. That link is a mine of information. I've spent 2 hours reading and cross referencing with it. |
