I'm considering starting up a new project and I've always been a big fan of the Roaring 20s, gangsters, etc. Thought that would make a nice skirmish game. I looked at the 28mm Blue Moon gangland figs so far and also Bob Murch's appropriate gangster figs too. Now I have a question. How well do the Blue Moon and Murch figures match – size wise? I am tempted to mix but not sure if I would just be wasting my money? Anyone used both or have any comparision pics? Oh one other question – Copplestone has some great gangland figs, anyone in the states or Canada sell those? I'd rather not go overseas given the current world situation. Shipping seems very iffy. |

Badger Games carries the Copplestone range, and they are a better match with the Pulp Figures models than Blue Moon. Only difference is that the Copplestone minis are slotta base. |

Check my line out as well. Priced nicely. Https:www.mobsterminiatures.com They fit in with both of those lines. I am located in New York, so postage should be ok. All the best, Frank |

Sure, I'm prejudiced, but Mobster Miniatures are perfectly compatible and have features not available in other ranges. And why buy your minis from only one or two sources when so many will still mix well? TVAG |

Blue Moon Figures will work nicely with Pulp Figures, although they are a bit "thinner" in size comparison. For an idea please check out this blog entry from my site as I did review of some Blue Moon Figures and you can see a photo showing how one of the figures compares to some Foundry and Pulp Figures link Hope this helps. |

For pulp, I think it is better to have many miniatures manufacturers on the table. People come in different shapes and sizes, and for pulp-era games, I think your figures should too. |

Several years ago, Wargames Soldiers & Strategy ran an issue devoted to the topic. Good articles and figure comparisons. It's only a few bucks to download the issue in pdf. Well worth it, even for inspiration. |

I use Blue Moon, Murch and Copplestone together with no problems. |

I have a very large collection "gangster"/civilian figures from Copplestone, Pulp, Brigade and some others. Once painted and based they all fit together well. I did this collection before I knew of Dadster and did not like BM box sets. Typically each figure has two versions, one armed and one unarmed. This way there is some mystery as to whom is actual a "bad guy" until some event triggers the shooting. Painted by Fernando. By the way, ditto to surdu2005
