I hate cats…let's just get that out of the way now. They find their way into my game room, no matter how I try to barricade it, and destroy anything that they know would tick me off.

So I've got two 15mm Lynx helos with no main rotors…thanks to said cats.

Any suggestions on how to use something clear to affix to the top of the chopper that might look like the swirl of rotors at high speed?

Thanks for any help!

You could get someone to 3d print you new rotors.

I probably could do it and make them the size you need. Otherwise just get a hard plastic circle

Slightly ironic that cats ate your lynx :)

get/cut a plastic disc the size of the rotors,
to make an "in action" look?

3D printing would be a quick and easy way – hopefully fairly cheap.

Oh believe me…if it wasn't for my daughters' loving those cats they would be going for a long drive in the country…and yes, David Manley…that is pretty funny!

Hey, I live in 'the country' and in 20 years have
rescued too many dogs and cats to find that
'long drive' idea even faintly amusing.

It's OK to not want to have the animals around, but
take 'em to a local animal shelter, don't just
dump 'em on a road some where.

Ed…it was a joke…

Rob send me a PM if you would like me to 3d print you some new rotors.

Here is a handy option. Clear disc link you showed but DIY from something closer to home.
Take out the plastic window film from a box.the thin cake box window plastic is quite good and you get a treat too.
Cut out a good to scale circle.
Pencil or fine tip pen some curves on opposite sides to give impression of whirling blades.
Bobs your uncle and cakes in the belly.

I've seen some guys not even mount the blades. They are flying , etc.

David Manley +1 evil grin

Ask the manufacturer of the helos if they'd sell you a set of rotors separate from the airframe. I've had good luck.

Good luck.

Acetate sheet and a razor knife blade compass is all you need to make your own. Both available for nominal prices t a local art supply shop.

Minis, you cats can unlock and open doors?
Mine have learned the door knob but not the locks yet.

Call at the Non-com in charge of the ground crew
"Sergeant, pop some more rotors on the bird would you?"
