Cheers guys… was a fun one.

Took a while as work has been manic with all the stuff going on, but it was a nice way to switch off!

That looks very well done to me. I like all the weathering.

Please don't take me as a critic, but I thought the Germans painted the inside of (maybe just some?) their open top AFV's in white? I may be wrong, but that's what I remember reading some time ago. I thought with all the work you put into it you may want to consider it?

Either way I don't think you can go wrong; I've done both.

Wow. The highlighting on such "plain" uniforms and in 20mm scale.

I am used to Napoleonics and 28mm, but am just getting into Free French Paris 1944 in this scale and have HUGE respect for this standard of figure painting.

That exhaust grill on the Grille…the rusty tubular thing at the back. Is that photoetched brass?

I want to know more about the "converted" you mentioned. Terrific work

Catavar

German vehicles that were open topped were sprayed the same colour as externally.

Only enclosed areas were in Ivory as they couldn't be seen and reflected light better.

Open areas, and inside of turret hatches were coloured the same as externally for camouflage.

Deadhead,

Yes its brass etch. As are the lower hull side on one side and a few other bits and pieces.

The running gear and tracks plus the lower hull came from a PSC, that was mated with a UM kit and a metal gun kit.

Marvellous that you took a pic of the construction process. That is terrific work

Excellent work.

@PB Thanks for letting me know that. I'd like to think my stuff is painted as well as yours. At least I'd like to think that.
