"28mm Flag Bearers" Topic

Guys,

Trying to add additional flags to my 28mm AWI collection. I have plenty of troops but not enough flag bearers. Does anybody produce flag bearers that can be purchased individually? Would need all participant nationalities. Ideally, they would fit with Old Glory First Edition. Thanks.

The only ones I can think of are Dixon miniatures

I believe Front Rank still sell their miniatures individually and have an AWI range…no idea how compatible they are with OG though.

Kings Mountain Minis sells individual figures and has several different standard bearers for the continentals.

GAJO sells 25mm Old Glory standard bearers for the AWI as individual figures. Don't know if they are first edition or second edition. Likely to be a bit expensive if you need many and GAJO's painting style might not match your painted figures.

You might also advertise for people who have standard bearers surplus to their needs; with the popularity of skirmish gaming there my be some AWI gamers who have unwanted standard bearers because they game at a scale (small raids and the like) where they don't want to include standard bearers in their on-table forces.

I'll second Hinchliffe. Also, Perry sell their command sprues separately, so you can get a few more out of those if you are prepared to do a bit of converting.
