My Texas SAGA inventory continues: I am taking a photo and listing inventory of all my miniature collections – taking advantage of working from home and the stay home policy.
Here are my Saracens. This army is all mounted and comprised of 25mm HAT El Cid figures. These were picked up real cheap (around $1 USD per figure). They painted up nicely and mix nicely with the larger (28mm) scale figures.
For example see the Saladin figure (Gripping Beast) next to the flag bearer command (Hat).
I do like the fast moving – swarming nature of this army. I normally fight as all warriors for the mass affect.
A 6 point battle = 1 Warlord and 48 mounted warriors (bows and weapon mix)
Saracens 28mm SAGA:
40 x Saracen mounted Warriors
32 x Saracen mounted archers
2 x Saracen mounted Warlords (Saladin)
1 x Saracen mounted army banner
72 mounted figures
3 mounted command

I remember facing these boys! What fun!! Me and my foot army looking across the table at those 6 full units of mounted Warriors stretched from one side of the table to the other… |

Looks great. Are they the 1/72 HaT solf plastic figures or their 28mm hard plastic "scale-ups"? |
