I haven't posted one of these in quite some time, and thankfully, over the last few years a lot of new minis have been produced, but there are still lots of models which I'd love to see produced in the near future.

Since many people are on involuntary lockdown, I was thinking perhaps the sculptors and others might have a bit more free time on their hands to finally produce some new models for us, if we ask/suggest nicely.

Anyone else have some things you'd like to see made in 1/600th scale?

If so, please feel free to add to the list, and then we can forward on to Marcin at Oddzial Osmy, and Paul at Tumbling Dice, among others.

I'll start with a quick one, but there are lots more I'd like to see added to this too, in the very near future:

* denotes urgent need now

Cold War
Mig-31 *
Su-9/Su-11 (TD may have done the former – can't recall for sure now – Su-11 has a longer nose to house better radar) *
Su-15 – early variant – OO/Pico have the Su-15TM available now, IIRC
Su-30MK or MKI – two seater, without the canards – basically looks like a two-seat Su-27 (more pronounced cockpit hump than the single seat model) *
Su-37 (not sure if the other variants can fill in for this or not, since the whole Sukhoi family numbering scheme is very confusing to me)
Su-47
Su-57 (Pak-FA Stealth fighter, IIRC, or do I have that wrong?) *
Tu-28/128 Interceptor in metal (I have the Shapeways ones, but don't know if they'll survive aerial combat)
Yak-28P Interceptor *
Bison bomber
Blackjack bomber *
Soviet Bomber-Launched ASMs – some are rather large, IIRC
Pak-Da stealth bomber

Chinese J-8 (AKA F-8 – streamlined Mig-21 – looks a bit like the Su-15)
Chinese H20 Stealth bomber – prototype

Avro Arrow *
Victor bomber – TD is reportedly working on this one

F-89 Scorpion *
F-101B Voodoo Interceptor *
F-101 Recon variant
F-105 Wild Weasel (lengthened with 2nd cockpit seat)
F-108, just because who doesn't want some Mach 3 Escort Fighters?
B-58 Hustler * – available in resin from Pico
XB-70
Hound Dog Missile *
U-2 *
SR-71

Saab Tunnan
Saab Lansen

SAMs
American HAWK SAM launchers on trailers, and radar systems *
SA-3 – quad launcher *
SA-5 – single launcher *
Nike Ajax
Nike Hercules *
Nike Zeus
Bomarc *

Ba-349B Bachem Natter
Ju-88C Day and NF
Ju-88G NF *
Me-110G NF
Me-262B NF – two-seater
Ta-154 NF
Do-335A-6 NF
He-219A NF
Mosquito with large radome – NF MK30, and others, IIRC – perhaps an earlier, teen mark too *
Mosquito with smaller, radar radome – NF

I realize some of the above may be available from Shapeways, but given how some have arrived just through shipping, I'm not sure they're viable enough for me to want to let others put their hands on them, since I doubt they'll survive too many sorties if that occurs. For me, metal is by far the much preferred choice, when/if available.

That's a decent start, though I'm sure I've missed some too, so feel free to chime in, and add to this list too.

I suspect if the manufacturers, and/or their sculptors do read this list, then the more people that repeat the same items I have listed above on their want list, the more likely we might get some of these produced.

I second wild weasel variants! I'd love to see OO/Picoarmor put out the F-100F, F-105F, F-4G and EA-6B. I'd like to see an OV-10 Bronco from OO/Picoarmor too.

Oooo, I like your suggestions too.

F-18F as well, since I've read it's 25% larger than the standard Super Hornet (can probably use a TD model in the interim, if needed).

I need Recon Voodoos for missions over Nam as well.

For the SAMs I've been using 1/300th versions. Sometimes 3mm is just too small with vehicles.

Good list though.
