Hey all,

My friend Gonsalvo over at the "Blunders on the Danube" blog posted a write up of mine on my first remote game, run for my game club.

Huge thanks to Gonsalvo for this! If anyone has any questions about the game or the process of remote gaming, feel free to respond here.

Thanks!

Jared

Hex and grid based games particularly lend themselves to distance gaming. It would be interesting to see if there is a resurgence of hex/grid gaming because of social distancing.

Hey 79th PA,

Yes, for sure. I would imagine that any game involving wheeling, or other kinds of specific maneuvers would be tough to pull off. That said, I've never tried- so who knows. In general, I go back and forth on hex/grid games. Sometimes they feel a bit too rigid to me, and other times I simply love the simplicity of it.
