Hello all.

I enjoy a good painting challenge every now and again, and I've decided to host one over at Dead Dick's Tavern. May has traditionally been "Monster Month" over there, and this year I thought I'd open it up to the world.

The rules? Paint at least one monster in May. Any scale, any genre allowed…but it's gotta be a monster, not a weedy orc or goblin. I mean a dragon, shambling mound, griffon, flying polyp, tyranid carnifex, dark young of shub-niggurath, giant worm, T-Rex, huge spider, hydra, alien bug…you get the idea.

Thanks for looking!

Darn it, just painted a wood Elf dragon in April. Hmmm, should I build and paint the High Elf Dragon?

Indeed you should!

Somewhere I have a bunch of 25mm aliens from the Aliens franchise … now if only I can find them and get them painted this month.

I have a couple of large D&D monsters -- purple worm and bulette -- but I'm just tinkering with their bases and leaving their already excellent paint jobs, so I won't enter them here.
