Before I commit and buy it, I'd like to know if this is the tool needed to build "pint sized" campaigns of my own?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

If I understand your question: At the Sharp End is the 'engine' for Pint Sized Campaigns.
Not sure what 'Platoon Forward' is.

Chain of Command are the main rules At the Sharp End are campaign development rules and are used in Pint sized campaigns. Not sure what graphics program for maps they use for their game maps.

Platoon Forward is more of solo gaming mechanic, where as At The Sharp's End is more for designing a campaign, as mentioned above.

As mentioned, Platoon Forward is a solo-gaming aid to assist you with any set of rules set at the platoon level, written by Joe Legan. I've been using it for years and absolutely love it.

If I recall correctly, he did an article on how specifically to adapt it for use with Chain of Command, might have been in one of the Too Fat Lardies' Specials.

Joe posts here on TMP, or you could try the Lardies' forum, or try contacting him on his blog ( platoonforward.blogspot.com ) .

The only issue is that he's a doctor and thus heavily engaged right now, so not sure when he'll see your request and get back to you.

My bad, I simply mistook a title for another. Of course I meant "At the sharp end". Thansk for your answers and your help.

jack is correct on all accounts. Platoon Forward is more of a character campaign than a pint size campaign. I did write up an article on how to use it with chain of command. will see if Rich wont mind me posting it.
cheers

Joe
