I am jumping into 40K for the first time and want to start an Ork army. I think they would be fun to paint and game based on pictures I have seen. Green seems to be their color and I am not sure which one to choose. I know it is subjective but what colors of green did you use or recommend. Pictures would be welcome if possible.
I was thinking of going with Citadel paints.
Thanks
Bob

I've recently finished an Ork force for Kill Team, I used their contrast color range to great effect, but used Creed Camo for their flesh, not Ork flesh. Found it gave a better flesh tone for my greenskins.

Something you can get a lot of.

More helpfully, I find one shade lighter than I thought is the best.

I use Warboss Green with a wash of Greenshade – I agree you should use a shade lighter than you want and then use a wash

Way back in the day I used Dark Angels Green drybrushed with Goblin Green (didn't use ink washes.) Not sure what the modern paint equivalents are…

I use different shades of Green, just like with Humie flesh … Even different shades of wash …
