As part of the Gallipoli campaign, I created a model of Sedd el Bahr Fort. It overlooked V Beach at Cape Helles. Here is a photo of the model:
Thanks to photogrammetry, it has been possible to transform the model into a 3D image for printing. Here is how the software recreated the model from 42 photos taken with an iPhone, each photo taken from a different angle:
And here is a view of the STL model, ready to 3D print tonight.

It is on a standard Great War Spearhead 3" x 3" base. The printer is an SLA resin printer, set at 50 micron layers this time around. Robert |

Very impressive. How did you manage to bring out so much detail of the stone work on the paint? Did you use decals? |
