Quick workbench update on the blog with some new figures for the Sikh Wars amongst others. Test figure for Skinners horse complete, I am in two minds about the yellow, perhaps needs to be more mustard? Not sure. More details on the blog as always.

Looks good. I'm also not sure if it needs a bit more mustard. I'd be tempted to leave it and if anyone says anything explain that the dye had faded in the sun…. (and if you experiment with a few figures you can say that their kurtas were more recently issued!).

Roger,

Your link got messed up with some extra characters. Here is the correct one: link

That's a good looking figure for Skinners. I agree with John's comments about the faded coloring.

Nice Bobgnar and a deeper yellow than mine which is what I was wonderign about.

IMHO he looks great, RogerC! But his kurta looks closer to traditional "khaki" than the iconic yellow of Skinner's Horse. This may be more realistic in terms of what they looked like while on campaign out in the field.

Cheers Mad Guru, I have an officer to pant before I buy the other 8, I may go for a darker more mustard colour, it wont matter if the Officer has a nicver shade or indeed if the unit has a smatter of different shads of yellow.

Cheers Mad Guru, I have an officer to pant before I buy the other 8, I may go for a darker more mustard colour and see how it comes out, it wont matter if the Officer has a nicver shade or indeed if the unit has a smatter of different shads of yellow. Appreciate the feedback.
