> Neither Avalon Hill or GDW produced miniatures. Remember – this is like Family Feud. Correct answers are not necessarily what you need to give. |

Avalon Hill did publish "Napoleon's Battles," which is miniature wargaming. But I grant you, AH wasn't a miniatures wargaming company. |

My lifetime subscription to the General ran out. I do miss that magazine showing up. Lots of neat things to read. |

I miss West End Games, and they made miniatures. It wasn't even on the list. BTW that was a highly flawed poll. I actually liked the spiritual successor to SPI, Victory Games. The James Bond RPG was boss! Every SPI game, like every old GW board game, had a tragic flaw in the somewhere in the game because they rushed everything out the door. And I owned many SPI games. |

What about Frontier Miniatures, Grenadier, Willie, Lamming, Douglas, Segom, Les Higgins, Der Kreigspielers, Hinton Hunt, Hinchliffe, Springwood Models (first 25mm plastic), Jacklex, Archive, Custom Cast, Elastolin, Old Guard,Peter Laing (invented 15mm), and Stadden. Those were all excellent miniature war-game companies. Imagine if they were in business today, making modern 28mm figures and 15mm too. |
