"Star Trek Picard expanded the fleet of the Star Trek universe with quite a wide variety of ships, including a heroic Borg Cube, giant space flowers, and an impressive expansion of Romulan starship design. I thought it would be fun to have a look back through all the ships featured; so continue below starships fans: Picard is the only Trek TV series apart from DS9 not to have its primary setting aboard a Starfleet starship with the very familiar saucer and nacelles silhouette. Instead we got La Sirena, Cristóbal Rios' Kaplan F17 Speed Freighter…"

Ship designs are ok. What really bothers me is the way they ‘film' the space shots these days. You either get dark distant shots, with stuff moving too fast to register, OR You get shots crammed from corner to corner with stuff that gives me a headache to even look at. It's like we're marketing sci-fi to the ADHD crowd exclusively. I miss the older movies where you had clean beauty shots of the ships, even in the middle of combat. Must be time to buy a lawn chair and star yelling at neighborhood kids. |

Anyone else hoping the Fed and Romulan fleets went toe to toe? Or at least fought together against the summoned Alien invasion. |
