Very nicely done – and that is a big regiment.

The holster-covers, valise, and saddle-cloth are a marvel.

They look like Eureka figs. Correct me if I am wrong. Stunning unit.

Great sized unit.

That yellow/red/blue lace looks terrific, but is murder to do to this standard. Eureka indeed and they do help you a lot by moulding on the monogram on the holsters and saddlecloth.

He has done his homework too. White over black plume for the officer, trumpeter front rank not mounted on a grey…..wish mine looked like this.

Great to see a unit that gives this impression of being a considerable Regiment, with convincing postures too. Also agree with comments & appreciation of lace and other detailing. Know from experience, albeit 15mm, of how demanding this is (and no Raised monogram, either). But what's this about the Trumpeter not being on the conventional grey horse? I'm not disagreeing at all, just hoping to learn more, in particular whether the colour of horse shown in these pictures were according to any regulation. As far as I recall, I did the Trumpeters' horses both with Garde du Corps and Zastow Cuirassiers as greys. Damn! Of all the units in all the armies of the time, one, at least, of those I actually completed now turns out to have an error. But I did get the Officer's plume right.

Every time I follow that link my PC gets very upset and puts something into "Quarantine". Virus risk.

Trumpeters on blacks….I am sure it does not matter in the least. By Borodino they were happy to have any horse. silver trumpet another peculiarity.

Notice cross posted to plastics. These are a very metallic "plastic" actually!
