"In the course of the German Peasant War (1524-1526) there was also a clash of peasant and princely troops at the gates of Worms: the Battle of Pfeddersheim in June 1525.

The peasants in Pfeddersheim were poorly armed and in number were the main compatriots. Lower than the army. In the course of the battle, it came as it should. The peasants were unable to resist the top attackers for long and were eventually defeated.

The diorama shows a small part of the electoral army on the way to Pfeddersheim, carrying one of the numerous weapons…"
